Tips for Maintaining Exercise Wellness
Start Slow. There is no need to burn yourself out on your first workout. All you need to reap several of the benefits of exercise is a 30 min moderate intensity exercise per day (MayoClinic, 2008).
Stay Consistent. Schedule a time to exercise everyday. Research has shown that one of the keys to staying in shape is to stay consistent (MayoClinic, 2008). Everyone misses a day now and then but don’t be discouraged. Every workout counts and the more consistent you are, the better your results will be.
