Our Approach
How important is communication and collaboration to helping our patients reach their full potential? It’s at the core of what we do.
Finding theright fit
When you have an orientation session with us, that initial consult is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We’ll share more about our practice, our approach to care, as well as help you narrow in on the team member that would be the best fit not just for your needs but also your personality and style of communication. The key to a successful counseling journey is openness, and that starts with being connected with someone you are comfortable with and can trust.
A collaborative approach
Once you’ve been connected with your counselor, the collaboration continues. We get to know you even more to really assess your needs, work together to identify goals and develop a plan that meets the unique needs of each patient. And while you meet with one team member, truly you have the passion and talents of the entire team in your corner. We believe in drawing on the experience and knowledge of others to enhance the care we’re able to offer.
Our process
STEP 1
Request an Appointment
After giving us a call or request an appointment through our online form, our new patient team will be in touch to share about our process and schedule an information call.
STEP 2
Getting to Know You
In advance of the informational call, we’ll send you a link to our Patient Portal so you can share more information about your history to better prepare us for our time together.
STEP 3
Making a Connection
Once we are together for the informational call, that’s our chance to ask questions and learn more about you to make the best recommendation for a counselor to meet your unique needs.
STEP 4
GettingStarted
Once you’ve been matched with a counselor, we’ll talk through our new patient forms, as well as discuss rates and/or insurance coverage to ensure all is in place before your first therapy appointment.
Our belief in self-improvement
Just as we work with our clients to help them reach their full potential, we also work on ourselves! Our counseling is only as good as the counselor. We regularly take part in training to improve our skills, learn new therapy techniques, and always seek new opportunities to keep health in mind.
