Career Opportunities
What does working at Health in Mind look like?
We believe in collaboration
While each team member holds their own panel of patients, we are most definitely a team. Oversight and coaching is available to newer counselors, and we all regularly share knowledge and experiences to bring our collective insights to the benefit of those that have entrusted us on their journey to improved mental health.
We believe in self-care
It is important that as clinicians we are modeling self-care for our patients. This also helps to mitigate burnout, improve longevity of quality patient care, and sustain positive feelings about our work/life balance. Using an open and thoughtful employee-centered perspective, we maintain regular dialogue about flexibility, balance, and care for self. This approach to working helps people want to be here.
While you’re here, you are at home
We enjoy working with clinical learners on all levels; from hosting practicum students/interns from many of Virginia’s Universities, to Resident and Licensed Counselors one day hoping to start their own private practices. Each person that graces our stoop plays an essential role in the success of our company and the value we add to the health of our clients.
